Wow, so much fun! I was in NYC for a day and a half and needed something to do. I had never seen the Statue of Liberty, so I decided to take the liberty cruise. The statue is smaller than I expected!

The trip though was super easy. I just showed up and boarded the boat. Our trip was an easy one. The captain took us around the tip of manhattan and pointed out a few things along the way. As we got closer to the statue, people moved outside to get a better look. I had plenty of opportunity to take some photos and a decent selfie.

It was a cool, no frills trip - exactly what I wanted.

Not real impressed with anybody who while leading a tour of our Statue of Liberty to numerous visiting tourists from foreign nations, slams our president over and over. If he doesn't like our president that's his right but he shouldn't be using his job as a podium to air his thoughts. There were several other American tourists in my general vicinity who were equally disturbed by this anti political diatribe. Any business that would allow this is equally disgusting in my mind. I wouldn't recommend this outfit to anyone.

We only had one day in the city to explore and this was a perfect part of it. Wesley did such a great job of mixing history and insider tips from a true New Yorker. Thankfully there was food and drinks on the boat to get us through lunch time. Highly recommend this trip as a part of your New York experience.
