My husband and I took a cruise in Alaska and we didn't schedule any excursions with the cruise ships because they were super expensive. So when we got to Skagway we were pleasantly surprised to find a tour company right away! They had more than enough options on things to do and see, but we really wanted to experience the wildlife of this region so we chose the rafting tour. The people were fabulous! So friendly and FUN! We suited up in our gear and went on a fun 2 hour ride! The scenery and wildlife were gorgeous! The guys were very knowledgeable and entertaining. The rafting was absolutely exhilarating! If you're heading up this way on your next trip you must stop and take a tour with Ocean Raft Alaska! Try to get Dan and Captain Ashley, they're awesome! Don't forget to get some "Seal"fies!

My best excursion in Alaska ever, and I've been there 3 times! They provide warm jumpsuits so don't worry about the cold! Jen the narrator was great and educated us about the coast of Alaska and the Seals and Eagles we saw. And we saw tons of Seals and Eagles. Don't miss this excursion, it was thrilling! Ashley ,the driver of our raft was awesome as well, made it a true adventure!

I booked this through the RCCL cruise shore excursion program during our Alaska cruise. It was one of the BEST experiences of our trip. We were met at the pier by CJ, who was right on time. It was a very short bus ride (you could actually walk if you wanted to) over to their facility. We were provided with awesome lifevest/jumpsuits which kept us perfectly warm and dry. They even offer Oakley goggles & gloves if you want for the boat. The Zodiac was amazing. My son and I sat in the front because they said that was where we could catch the most action (meaning bumps and splashes). They weren't kidding! That being said, it was very safe and secure despite the high speed wave jumping and some speedy twists and turns. CJ was our boat captain and there was also a female guide (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name) who provided great insights and trivia about the surrounding area. We saw eagles and seals in addition to the breathtaking scenery around the bay. I highly recommend this company during your visit to Skagway. No offense to the White Pass Railroad, but I'm so glad we did this instead!
