Best way to go, as you can book online, all costs are upfront and paid in advance. Living on the other side of the world, we'd often see TV programmes with people going for rides through central park in a horse and carriage, so it's always been something that I'd like to do. As a solo traveller this can be quite expensive. There are a number of carriages in central park whereby I get the impression that you discuss the rate with the driver and this could vary. Also I don't believe they offer shorter rides for solo traveller. Therefore you know exactly how much you are going to pay for the trip. The beauty of this operator is that they allow you book short trips which make it affordable for a solo traveller. If you are with a group of four (or three, even two) the prices are not badly priced. However, as a solo traveller this operator enabled me to still take a ride in a horse and carriage. I understand that this is a family business and in my opinion if you want to do a horse and carriage ride these are the best people to go with. Their customer service is wonderful. Unfortunately, the day that I had booked for was too hot and they were required to stop rides for the wellbeing of the horses. I was contacted straight away and my money refunded immediately. I was then able to rebook for the following day. Because they had to cancel the previous day they went out of their way to make up the situation to me, which was completely outside of their control. It was a lovely carriage, with a very nice driver who gave me a commentary throughout the ride, also stopping at a key photo opportunity to see take a photo of me in the carriage. I would highly recommend this company and I think the best way to go, given that there are no hidden costs and no need to negotiate. Nice family business.

The young chap that helped us when we arrived was fab, even let my daughter feed his horse and take photos. Our carriage driver was Tino and he provided an excellent service, great knowledge of Central Park and accommodated for our 3 year old! Even took photos of us at the stops and in his carriage. Don’t hesitate to book with this company.
