Although I had been to NYC many times to visit friends and for work, this was the first time we were visiting with our 8 year old daughter. We were there to explore the city and I highly recommend starting off with this marvelous experience. Our driver was Frank and he was a real pro...he took us all across Central Park as he narrated the history along with entertaining trivia of every place we drove by. It was completely engaging for the entire family. We got to make several stops at iconic places and Frank generously offered to take series of photos for us. He knows all the scenic stops and at which angle yields the best photos and he was like a pro! We now how several amazing photos to choose from for our Christmas photo! A few times through the ride when we stopped, he let our daughter feed Shazam (his horse) and made the experience that much more special for her. Btw, Shazam was a beautiful and energetic horse and the carriage was nicely maintained too...not the case with all the other carriage rides I saw at Central Park. This was definitely one of the highlights of our 7 day trip to NYC!

Would highly recommend NYC Horse Carriage Rides as your choice for a beautiful,informative ride through lovely Central Park. Our host, "Tino" was great as was the guy who did most of the work, his horse Alvin. Our granddaughters really enjoyed themselves especially for picture stops when they could pet and have their picture taken with Alvin. Thank you NYC Horse Carriage Rides for a wonderful first time experience that was enjoyed by all.

Robert's been doing this since 1985. He was an excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, professional guide who delivered hospitality at a level of excellence for the 55 minutes of the tour. So glad we booked passes ahead of time. Also, communication and directions leading up to the tour in the day ahead of time was excellent. We received a good map via email, we received a text from the tour operator. We knew exactly what to expect, where to be, and when to be there. Exceeded expectations in every way, and when considered on a per-person cost, was actually a reasonable tourist attraction in NYC, and certainly an ideal way for an out-of-towner who isn't comfortable walking long distances to experience the most famous park in the world.
