You see a lot of pros and cons about the carriage rides - about how some of them seem to rip you off for your time vs distance... this is NOT ONE OF THOSE! We chose to invest in the full monty - the 55 minute VIP Tour through Central Park with stops for photos and are SO glad that we did. By reserving with NYC Horse Carriage Rides our ride was guaranteed, our driver - Pedro, and of course, our horse - Sparky, was there waiting for us right on time, and off we went. What a WONDERFUL way to see Central Park - and there is SO much to see! Pedro was full of knowledge and insights into the history and movies and happenings in the park. We got to take pictures and even treat Sparky to some carrots along the way. Totally worth the experience! Enjoy everyone!

I highly recommend this Carriage Ride company for your tour through Central Park. Our driver was very knowledgeable. He shared all of the special parts of the park, was very patient and kind, took pictures of all us, allowed the children to feed the horse a carrot, told us about different parts of the city, and we enjoyed it immensely. I hope you’ll give them a try, and that your time there will be as great as ours was.

Unforgettable experience. Our driver was superb. Told us so much about Central Park and took photos of us with the horse and carriage. We were two adults and a baby in a stroller and she was very accommodating to us. Would 100% book with this company again.
