It's all about the service... I made a reservation with NYC Horse Carriage Rides in April for a ride through Central Park that was to conclude with a picnic at Cherry Hill. The ride and picnic were a surprise for my GF's birthday. I made the reservation and paid on line. I was co-ordinating the carriage ride with the picnic service so that one would lead into the other. As a result, I had to make changes and Frank (the owner) was more than accommodating. The weather in New York was sweltering during our stay. On the day of our ride, I got a message that the rides would have to stop because the horses would be overheating. I was in a bit of a panic, thinking the whole surprise would unravel. I called in and Frank's team worked with me to come in a bit earlier (before the heat got to be too much for the horses). The ride was wonderful and Frank, knowing it was my GF's birthday, also had a surprise of his own in store - a single rose for my Lady (nice touch, why didn't I think of that). Frank (with his Dad at the helm) provided a bit of a guided tour through the park and also made sure we got some great pics along the way. Overall, a wonderful experience. NYC Horse Carriage Rides is not just a carriage ride company; they know what their service means to their clients and they deliver a full experience. I highly recommend them.
