My 82 year old aunt was unable to walk or bike Central Park, so this was the perfect way for us to see all the highlights. I could not have ridden in a carriage with horses that look malnourished, tired, and over-worked. NYC Horse Carriage Rides horses were beautiful and well taken care of. The carriages themselves were clean and in good condition. Our driver/guide was on time, kind, and well-groomed. His knowledge of the park was obvious — he provided us with facts, interesting trivia and funny stories during our 55 minute ride. Would take this trip again. Thanks Frank!

The time was right, my wife's birthday, a beautiful day in NYC and a romantic carriage ride in Central Park. Alana was an excellent host, she knows the history of the the park, there were many stops along the way. and I must admit the time went by too quickly, we would have like to stay another half hour. Very easy directions and we are concerned about animal safety, Josephine was fine, she is treated like one of the family and the carriage is in NY traffic for a very short period of time. Do try NYC Horse Carriage Rides, worth every penny.

There isn’t one thing we can say against our ride and experience with NYC Carriage. This is the best carriage company for Central Park. They show pride and service in this family run business. We saw a lot of other carriage companies and not one of their drivers seemed interested in the customers (one guy was actually texting while letting the horse travel the route without using the reins). Christina was personable, informative and balanced conversation and information with quiet times to enjoy the journey.
