We have just taken the vip tour around Central Park on the day of my 50th birthday which was the high light of my trip , frank our guide was great really informative and talkative , he took lots of pictures both in and out of the carriage and encouraged us to take photos at the stops on the way around the park , Winston his horse looked really well looked after and was fed and given water on the tour and was also given a rest along the way , Frank pointed out the places were scenes in films had been shot and also the homes of celebrities near to the park , I had looked forward to this for months and it was way above my expectations, I would highly recommend nyc carriage rides ,thank you Frank for making my day really special

Having booked the ride online before I left the UK I was very impressed with how easy it was and the different types of rides available. Once booked I also received several Text message reminders to my phone so you couldn’t forget even when distracted by this busy city. As myself and my wife were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and it was also our daughters 19th birthday I decided upon the 55 minute VIP tour for four adults at a cost of $140 (total) and we were very pleased we did. We met our carriage driver ‘Robert’ exactly as instructed online and he found our booking on his phone immediately. I’m sure most of the drivers are knowledgable about Central Park but I’d like to say how good Robert was. He never stopped talking from the start to the finish and really new his stuff. He commentary was interesting and funny and he made our visit to Central Park and our holiday in New York something to remember. There’s lots of concern online about the care of the horses used by the numerous companies offering these rides. It was clear from our ride that Robert looked after his horse very well providing it with water and food during our photo stops. The horse looked very healthy. I liked the fact that it’s clear on the web site that the cost charged is for the carriage and not per person as other companies do not make that clear. We were able to have several photo stops and Robert also took photos with our cameras of the four of us with his horse and carriage to add to our memories. I will be recommending NYC horse carriage rides to friends who I know will be visiting New York this year. You don’t need to wait until you get to Central Park to book a ride. Most of those trying to sell you rides in the park itself are more expensive anyway. Do it online with this company and you’ll be very pleased you did.
