Olympic National Park Tour from Seattle

Overview
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on approximately six miles.

We had Joel as our tour guide and he is one of the most energetic, thoughtful and knowledgeable guide I have seen. To him, the tour is not just a business. He sincerely wants his guests to get to experience the true color of Washington national parks and Seattle. Through out the tour, he constantly asked whether guests are comfortable and having fun. He treated his guests like his family. He explained various topics regarding the national park with in-depth expertise (geology, botany, history and etc) yet he explained them so well that they weren't dry at all. On top of that he is a great photographer and showed many camera tricks so that we can have pictures of our surroundings. If you are looking for a comfortable and affordable tour, look no further. Customized Tours of Seattle is the best package you can get.

I didn't quite know what to expect of Olympic National Park, it's not as close to Seattle as Mt Rainier so it was a last minute trip but it was worth every moment. Loved the view of green valley from Hurricane Ridge but Crescent Lake was absolutely astounding. Clear, cool water that made me regret not bringing shorts but I enjoyed the easy walk through the forest that leads to waterfall. Joel who led us was friendly and attentive to his individual members of the team but also gave us space to enjoy the nature all around us. Thanks again.
