Olympic National Park Tour from Seattle

Overview
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on approximately six miles.

If you enjoy nature you will enjoy this trip. Amazing guide who takes you to 3 different ecosystems. The mountains with a small hike with some elevation, the beach, and finally a trek through a forest to see a waterfall. The total amount of hiking is roughly 7 miles through the day split among the 3 main stops giving a natural break in between. It will give you a great understanding of how beautiful the area is and make you wish you had more time here. The guide is very personable, knowledgeable, and has great energy. Would highly recommend.

We loved all of the activities of the day! Joel was an awesome tour guide!! I highly recommend this tour - you see everything from mountains with snow to tiny crabs in tidal pools. It's a long day - 13.5 hours - but well worth the time and money. You'll be sitting on the bus alot but we still got about 17,000 steps also. You don't have to get that many steps if you don't want to.

Thank you for reviewing Joel and our Olympic National Park Tour. Yes it is a very long day but you are right you will sit quite a bit during travel time but you are also out and moving for at least a minimum of 3 miles.
