Sea kayaking requires a moderate level of physical activity. It is not recommended for guests with back problems, limited upper body strength or anyone who is prone to seasickness. In addition to paddling a kayak, guests need to be able to climb short sets of stairs; walk to the departure point; climb on and off the office boat; ascend and descend a short ladder; and sit on the dock or loading platform to get in and out of kayaks.

This trip was absolutely amazing. The groups are small - so even if you don't have a full group, you feel completely taken care of and looked after. Elle was a gracious host and prepared such a yummy snack after our kayak trip, as well as getting us set up in gear. Captain Bob was a hoot and we even got to see a whale on our way back to the pier. Matt was our tour guide on the water and was hands down - the best. He helped all of us (new and experienced) maneuver the kayaks. He was knowledgeable, kind, and fun. I never felt like I asked a stupid question or made a mistake as we were learning the ins and outs. He took individual time with each kayak to make sure we could hear him, ask questions, and even touch a starfish. This was a must do and if we are ever in Ketchikan again, a must do again.

Wonderful tour guides, just spent a little time kayaking due to the boat ride out to the cove. The ride was nice, just wish we had a bit more time to paddle on our own.
