This tour departs from Orcas Island. The island can only be reached by the Washington State Ferry System. If your party is not already on island we recommend our Anacortes departure location.
Check in begins 30 minutes prior to departure.

I went the first week of July and had a great experience. Blessed to see multiple pods of Orcas come together for social time and play. Cole and Paul where great! Friendly and full of information. I will definitely go on another trip with Outer Island Excursions the next time I'm back on Orcas Island.

We didn’t know how our young kids (8,6,4) would handle a boating trip so we wanted something flexible. We originally booked a 3 hour whale watching/fishing session. Our kids did great and that turned into a full day 6 hour excursion that we will never forget. We spent quality time with Orca’s, a Humpback whale, sea lions, and harbor porous! We also pulled crab pots and caught a salmon! Our family had a blast spending the day on the water with Jake McGuire and yours will as well. Jake has a demeanor that kids welcome and a knowledge base that impress the most savvy adult!

This was so worth the cost! Nice, comfortable boat for indoor or outdoor viewing of the whales. The crew Capt Dave, Dawn, and Aubrey were super nice and professional. The company has a Groupon but since we were booking the same day we couldn’t use the Groupon but the company honored that rate. 😀 They picked us up and dropped us off due to a change in departure so we were grateful for them going the extra mile. If you think you are not seafaring but are interested in a whale watching tour, go with Outer Islands Excursions. They are AWESOME!!
