Second trip this year, both with guests. The first time we saw J Pod orcas and a lot of sea lions. Today we watched 2 humpback whales hunting together. Fantastic! Drew, Alex and Brooke were great crew, very knowledgeable and funny. I will go to Outer Island for all whale watching trips!

Great boat ride. Saw humpback whale. However, my experience with the “naturalist” put a damper on the whole trip. The “naturalist” didn’t say much other than: “do you have any questions.” When I did ask her relevant questions she had a really bad attitude, seemed incredibly bothered to barely answer & even rolled her eyes at me. You should not employ someone like that to be in the service industry.

Went on a whale watching trip out of Orcas Island. The captain did not abide by the law of staying 100 meters away, he approached the whales several times and even steered the boat directly over ther whale and continued to follow the whale while it was feeding. One of the naturalist onboard came off as unprofessional. She was spewing out her views on political agendas and telling us to vote for this and vote for that. I would not recommend this tour.
