Went on both a whale watching tour and a private tour and had two incredible experiences! The guides were knowledgeable and friendly and we saw every kind of wildlife- Orcas, sea lions, porpoises, and bald eagles! I would recommend Outer Island Expeditions and will book with them next time I am there!

We joined Captain Paul and his amazing crew for a whale watching adventure this past Saturday, May 20. The day could not have been more perfect for a boat day. Sunshine, no clouds in the sky and a breezy 75 degrees. We departed on their 38 foot catamaran aptly called the Black Fish Express. The vessel drives fast and smooth, cutting through the waves like a knife, and the entire ride could not have been smoother as we traversed the Strait of Georgia to check out the Orcas and Humpbacks that had been reported in the area. Captain Paul and his crew did not disappoint; we saw several pods of beautiful Orcas. We even had an up close and personal encounter with a pod of five Orcas that actually swam up to the boat and provided us with a fantastic show. On the way back to shore, we also came upon a huge rock covered with sea lions. Truly magnificent to view these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat! I can't thank Paul and his crew enough for being so diligent in ensuring that we all had a great time on the adventure. They were happy and capable of answering all of our questions about the wildlife and surrounding islands and were very welcoming from the moment we boarded the vessel. I highly recommend Outer Island Expeditions if you are up for a whale watching adventure and a great time. We are already looking forward to the next time!
