Overview

The Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour (90 Minutes in Length) offers unforgettable guided tours through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. Each tour is lead by experienced guide(s) who ensure participants safely navigate through the unique ecological habitats while seeing different types of marine life.

This highly-protected and unique area boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in the West Coast. Guests commonly encounter seals, sea lions, and a multitude of birds and fish, and lucky guests might even see dolphins or whales!

Towards the southern end of the Ecological Reserve, La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves patiently await, allowing participants to witness their beauty. Weather permitting, participants can kayak through the large sea cave that goes from the ocean into the Emerald Cove.
Entry into the Emerald Cave depends on the safety, and is not guaranteed. Participants must be five years or older to participate in the tour.

Valid for up to two people to ride in a double kayak.

We absolutely loved this experience to the point that I am definitely going out to buy a kayak of my own to use back home. The staff was very friendly makes you feel safe. Overall it was a very relaxing yet exciting activity. Will definitely be back

Yes it was awesome and the sea was calm. It was a lot of rowing so if you are weak(like me) or get tired quickly then I suggest a double kayak.(like we did) Michael did most of the work. The only thing I didnt like about it was that it was a lot of just sitting in the water waiting for all the other groups & companies to come thru or pass you. I felt like maybe a different area of the sea we would have had more fun. The cave you go thru is small & wasnt what I was expecting. It was in and out in 1 minute.

My daughter AJ and I had to go to La Jolla for my docto visit & I had checked out online some fun things to do in La Jolla while there. I called Everyday California & spoke with a most wonderful customer service rep named Rowan. He not only gave me a fantastic deal for 2 to go kayaking, but he had gave me excellent recommendations & helpful advice in order to make our experience a truly enjoyable one!! Once we got to Everday California - the ENTIRE staff of employees, assistants and tour guides were very professional, courteous, and super-nice!! Our tour guides were Ellery & Nate - both of them were absolutely fantastic, friendly, exciting to listen to, and they both made sure everyone knew what to do and kept us safe since most of us on this tour were 1st-time kayakers!! Great first experience for me that I will not forget!! Everday California was the highlight of our trip & we definitely want to go back soon to enjoy ourselves in La Jolla again! Thanks everyone at Everyday California for so much RAD FUN!!!! ^_^
