Overview

The Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour (90 Minutes in Length) offers unforgettable guided tours through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. Each tour is lead by experienced guide(s) who ensure participants safely navigate through the unique ecological habitats while seeing different types of marine life.

This highly-protected and unique area boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in the West Coast. Guests commonly encounter seals, sea lions, and a multitude of birds and fish, and lucky guests might even see dolphins or whales!

Towards the southern end of the Ecological Reserve, La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves patiently await, allowing participants to witness their beauty. Weather permitting, participants can kayak through the large sea cave that goes from the ocean into the Emerald Cove.
Entry into the Emerald Cave depends on the safety, and is not guaranteed. Participants must be five years or older to participate in the tour.

Valid for up to two people to ride in a double kayak.

We had a great time on the water with Aiden and Travis. Aiden is a great story teller and he made the whole experience lots of fun. They take safety and comfort seriously at Everyday California and we felt perfectly relaxed the whole time. The secenery is beautiful from the water. Highly recommend for a different perspective on La Jolla Cove!

I’m a very big fan of doing tours because you always learn something that you wouldn’t have otherwise. A great guide is the backbone of a great tour and Aiden and Luke were two of the best. They were very articulate and open to any questions, they made the trip much more enjoyable!!

I went on this tour in late November with a guide named Bryce. He was fantastic! We explored the caves, saw sea lions and seals on the trip, and learned all about the area and animal life in La Jolla. I'd highly recommend this tour.
