Weā€™ve enjoyed kayaking on calm, inland waters in WA so thought weā€™d give sea kayaking a try. Getting out past the waves was better than it looked from shore. Their staff was awesome in pushing our kayak out. We paddled out to the caves with a couple of needed breaks where Guides Ruben and Allison talked about the different marine habitats, cliff history and noteworthy homes. The waves were too strong to go into the caves, but it wasnā€™t that big of a deal. The highlight was really family fun on the ocean and away from screens for the kids. One member in our party had a health issue and attempted to go out, but after trying, stayed ashore. Allison, Travis and the staff were very kind with the unexpected situation. While we didnā€™t get a full refund (which was not expected by us) they did grant a partial merchandise credit which was nice. Both Allison and Travis made sure this outing was a wonderful experience for our family. Weā€™d definitely go through them again. You will get soaked, especially waist down. The day we went, the water was warmer than the unusually cold air temp. If you donā€™t rent a wetsuit, bring dry clothes. Tip: when coming back ashore, keep laying back flat until youā€™re literally on the sand. We mistakenly thought we were past the waves, sat up, then capsized in about 2ā€™ of water. And put your phone in one of those dry, clear pouches with the lanyard. They sell them in their store but we bought ours online prior. Despite getting drenched our phones were fine.

Spoke to a representative who said our ticket included the caravan safari and when I showed up to enjoy this ride after a 4 hour drive I was told we do not have access to it and not only was a sold out but a seperate reservation was required. We drove 4 hours for nothing and the sales rep just wanted a sale it seems. Complete bs and never again third party

Perfect day on the water. Waves too high to enter the caves, but still enjoyed a day learning about the area and luckily ended the trip with a family of dolphins circling the kayaks. Kayaking was easy, safe, fun and overall a great time. I solo kayaked, one mom solo kayaked with her 7 year old son and the rest of the group were 2/kayak. Assistance was provided as needed. Bring or rent a wetsuit if they suggest it. Sunscreen a must. Waterproof bags helpful (my kayak flipped as I returned to shore and my phone stayed dry). I was fortunate to be there on an "ideal" day, as the waters were not too rough (they assisted in getting us all past the surf), but based on other reviews, I'd be sure to inquire about refund/postponement policy if the day/hour turns out to be too much. Life vests and helmets provided, safety maintained at all times. Wetsuits available to rent, inexpensive sunglasses, sunglass cords, dramamine, sunscreen, etc all available onsite to purchase.
