We had a great time the canoe trip was beautiful. Our guide, Eric, was so knowledgeable. We saw gators, heron, turtles, and more. Eric answered every question we had. It was my husband and on the excision along with a group of seven. There were enough guides to allow some of the group who couldn’t make the trek to stay back. Since it was warm out, the manatees where dispersed, so we didn’t see any. If you want to see them, book when it’s been cold out for a while. That’s when the manatees go to the warmer spring.

We did this trip in late March and the warm weather had pushed the manatees out into the bigger parts of the river. So instead Bill, our guide, showed us all the secret spots! We saw 10 gators, a bald eagle, and plenty of other unique wildlife. Can’t wait to come back and do the bioluminescence tour!
