There is no minimum age however all participants must know how to swim
It is recommended that you bring a swimsuit, towel, waterproof camera and wear clothes that can get wet and possibly dirty
To ensure a proper size kayak is available, please provide your individual heights and weights at the time of booking
There is no restroom at the meeting location. There is a public restroom at Valentine Park (1511 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763) about a mile before you arrive the meeting location that we recommend you use before your tour.

My sister was interested in seeing some manatees - so this seemed like the perfect choice for a tour. Well, we were NOT disappointed! These gentle giants would swim around and under our kayaks - and seemed curious about us in general. Greg was very knowledgeable about the manatees, but also equally informed about the various bird and plant life in the area. We even had an alligator swimming with us for a while. I cannot say enough about this adventure! We will definitely be back again!!

Greg and Matt were very agreeable to re-scheduling due to weather concerns. Greg readily agreed to brave the cold temps to allow my wife and I to check an item off our bucket list despite the less than desirable weather conditions. It was in the low 40's and the manatee were not active . Greg went above and beyond the call(barefooted) to maximize our experience. We were able to hike up to the source of the Blue Springs while observing the 438 manatee that were warming themselves in the spring. We kayaked and saw deer , turkey, many bird species , alligator and ended our trip with a manatee close encounter. On Greg's suggestion we stopped at the spring in hope that the manatee were beginning to stir despite the cold temps and we scored. Six to seven manatee , and several other groups, were moving out to feed and swam directly under and around our kayaks. We were able to document the memory with video and photos. It was a great ending to this wonderful experience. We were very impressed with Greg's knowledge and hospitality. Greg even went to the trouble of texting me two awesome photos that he had taken during our trip. It was truly a first class experience. My wife and I highly recommend Greg and Adventures in Florida.

This tour is absolutely worth it- there are manatees all around, swimming around the next to your kayak. Even if the manatees aren’t out in the kayak area during the tour, they take you into the park so you can view them from the shore. We also just paddled around the shores and saw some gators, birds, and more manatees! And they are really good at personalizing the tour and will even extend it if the schedule allows! Absolutely recommend this tour to everybody!
