Out of Africa Wildlife Park Admission Ticket

Overview
Come see animals up close in large spacious habitats. Out of Africa Wildlife Park strives to educate and entertain, to provide an exciting and engaging opportunity to love and respect creation and creator. It is a place where family and friends gather to experience oneness with animals and each other during safaris, tours, walks, observations, and shows of wild-by-nature animals in their own, natural splendor. In this way, we hope to achieve a kind of oneness with them that will cause us to consider them to be so valuable that we cannot allow them to be lost forever. We continually provide spacious and natural living habitats for animals in need, so they can become ambassadors of their own kind. We have heeded the call of those without a voice, many of whom now border on extinction.

IF you love animals, this spot has it all. A quick trip from Sedona proper, this large spread houses, saved, loved, and rehabbed African animals. Come and stay all day. Lunch items available. Or take a tour from town. Attractions: animal feeding and pettings. Wild animal shows. Critters wondering around. The staff obviously loves their work and the animals. Rescued animals are the best!

We visited to see if this was like our experiences in South Africa, and it did not disappoint -- though on a much smaller scale. It's facilities are rustic, but the adventure it offers is fun for all. Part game park, part animal rescue, it has a large collection of big cats that you can view up close, but in a natural habitat. Giraffes, rhino, antlered animals, creepy-crawlies, a few primates. The game viewing from a safari truck is worth the extra $20 -- the "African savanah" is realistic though limited in size. This is not a drive-thru park, and animals are in large enclosures but they seem to like visitors and come up close. Recommended for families.

Today my friend and I went to the park for the first time. I am so glad I went. I almost wimped out and stayed home. I was so happy to see the conditions of the animal enclosures and the condition of the animals. Every animal I had seen was very calm and seem very happy. Our guide Jennifer (I think that was her name) Is awesome!! She is very knowledgeable and really seems to love what she is doing. The park grounds are very nicely kept, including the restrooms. Every employee we met there were super friendly. I thought it was really neat that I was greeted by name before I had even stepped foot into the gates, by Cam. I had an awesome time today. I will most definitely return, and since I live and work in Cottonwood, I will highly encourage my guests at the hotel I work at, to go visit this park. They'll be glad they did.
