We visited to see if this was like our experiences in South Africa, and it did not disappoint -- though on a much smaller scale. It's facilities are rustic, but the adventure it offers is fun for all. Part game park, part animal rescue, it has a large collection of big cats that you can view up close, but in a natural habitat. Giraffes, rhino, antlered animals, creepy-crawlies, a few primates. The game viewing from a safari truck is worth the extra $20 -- the "African savanah" is realistic though limited in size. This is not a drive-thru park, and animals are in large enclosures but they seem to like visitors and come up close. Recommended for families.
