Out of Africa Wildlife Park Admission Ticket

Overview
Come see animals up close in large spacious habitats. Out of Africa Wildlife Park strives to educate and entertain, to provide an exciting and engaging opportunity to love and respect creation and creator. It is a place where family and friends gather to experience oneness with animals and each other during safaris, tours, walks, observations, and shows of wild-by-nature animals in their own, natural splendor. In this way, we hope to achieve a kind of oneness with them that will cause us to consider them to be so valuable that we cannot allow them to be lost forever. We continually provide spacious and natural living habitats for animals in need, so they can become ambassadors of their own kind. We have heeded the call of those without a voice, many of whom now border on extinction.

The park seems to be showing issues due to probable low attendance/lack of funding because of covid. Equipment, signs and facilities are run down and in need of replacement. One of the lunch vendors was closed and the one that was open had very limited meal choices due to equipment issues. And, a day visit in summer is quite hot. Also, as we've found with most animals, they tend to come out early in the morning or near sunset so many are sleeping during the park open hours. It did help when park employees started feeding them, as more came out and were visible.

This was not our favorite experience in Arizona. It was a bit run down and so hot! We first took the tram ride which was short. We did see the animals and feed the giraffe but it was just okay. The tour guide was very knowledable and did try to make it fun. Then we caught the tiger show. The tigers did not perform much and the heat of just sitting there was overwhelming. They don't train the tigers so you may or may not see them jumping in the water. We fed the tiger which consisted of the employee putting a piece of meat into the tube and you pushing it in. It was fun to see the tiger eat it and rather inexpensive, so worth it. The snake show was just one snake that we couldn't touch due to covid, but she was a rather large and beautiful snake. The worst part was walking the park in the heat. We should have taken the tram but wanted to take time to see the animals. They were hard to find and it was unbearably hot. I would recommend paying for the smog tour and getting to sit while they show you the animals or taking the tram to avoid too much walking. As for the zip line they had sold out before we got there. Buy early if you want to do the zip line or the sloth experience which was also sold out. Overall it was a bit run down and overly hot to be really enjoyable. Some aspects were fun but it was pricy for what it was. I suggest the deer farm up north for a more reasonably priced, fun experience.

Great up close viewing of African animals! Even though it was already very hot, we saw many anmials "in the wild" on the basic tour you get with admission. Had a giraffe stick his head in our buss albeit planned by the guide. Walking tour, self guided gave plenty of chances to see bear, lions, emus, etc. Friendly staff. A cooler day would be better. Start out early.
