Overview

Meet at our private spring location: Wekiva Island! Then, Stand up and paddle on the most beautiful river in Central Florida! Starting at Wekiva Island, you'll paddle to the head waters and main spring of the Wekiva River. Along the way you'll see a wild and scenic side of Florida in its most natural state. Arriving at the springs you'll have the choice to swim through the spring during the spring and summer seasons, take a short hike or if you desire just hang out and relax for a few minutes and take in the beauty of Wekiva State Park. After the spring and park visit, we'll load you back onto your board. The gentle current will return you to Wekiva Island. No motorboats mean no wakes. Paddle craft only on this section of the Wekiva; tall tree lined banks shade and block the wind. Creating calm ideal paddling conditions over crystal clear shallow water. Gorgeous place with great instructors and guides. Ned, Tom, and Jenna are able to meet the needs of SUPers of all levels and they enjoy showing people this incredible place and teaching a new sport. They are kind, fun and respectful without being unctuous. I really appreciated their expertise and would love to go back when the manatees are around! (Also, pro-tip: the tour leaves from the private Wekiva Island, not the state park! Thank you, Ned, for saving our butts and giving us a ride to the right place!)

What an amazing day with Orlando Paddleboard!! The instructors were professional, caring, and funny. Even though it was just our first time in Orlando and first time paddle board at all, we had absolutely the best time. The afternoon with these guys/gals made our short 3 day trip and the only regret was that we didn't have time to book another advanced trip. Will be back!!

Fantastic Fun filled morning for all levels!! Ned and Jenna are not only attentive, experienced and knowledgeable they are a ton of fun!! The paddle is beautiful and the stop at Wekiva Springs adds to the adventure. Lots of laughs and lots of peace and beauty. Highly highly recommend this activity. This is a top "must do" Florida adventure!!
