The tram ride was exciting and the views were spectacular. It’s also very cool at the higher elevation. The temperature was 98 down below while we enjoyed 75 degrees at the top. We were disappointed when after using our ticket through Trip Advisor we still had to stand in the ticket line. The gate employee taking the tickets could not process Third Party tickets displayed on our phone. We had to take our phone to the ticket counter to get one of their paper tickets. Luckily the line was short but it can sometimes take an hour or more during the busy season.

Incredible ride up to the peak with the opportunity to see the sheet rock cliffs up close. Fun hikes at the top featuring fantastic vistas.

The price to go up is not super expensive but still $30 pp is not nothing. If you go up after 4pm it's $3 cheaper. We hesitated to go up since you also have to $15 for the parking but after exchanging with fellow travelers we went up. The ascension is steep and can be challenging for people afraid of height. The view from the top is beautiful but was a bit hazy for us. The small desert path trail (30 to 45 min) is worth it to complete your experience and explore a bit more and enjoy even greater views.
