What To Expect

Cougar Vineyard & Winery

Tastings of several wines and a vintners lunch including sandwiches and drinks. Enjoy a resplendent view of the surrounding hillside and sprawling vineyard as you enjoy tastings in Cougar Vineyard's world-class tasting room. They specialize in 100% Estate Italian varietals. All our wines are produced at the winery. They currently farm approximately 17 family acres. This stop includes a lunch. Please see the sample menu we have included.

Callaway Vineyard and Winery

This is an important stop as this vineyard is celebrated as the very largest in Temecula. They are also the largest producer using Varietals from Napa Valley suppliers. These blends are just out of this world!

Wilson Creek Winery

Family Estate & Award-winning Temecula Vineyards. While the diverse terrain, rich soil, and unique micro-climate create a perfect growing environment, it's the time tested, hands-on family approach that has garnered Wilson Creek's prestigious awards among the Temecula vineyards.

Little overpriced/ wine tasting were 25-30 each site x 3 vineyards but paid 300 per person Transport was not comfortable Guide nice Would not do it

We are glad you had no criticism regarding the wine tastings, the lunch or certainly not the guide. However, you had a full day tour involving a long distance drive with a professional driver from Palm Springs to temecula. The price paid less expenses for your wine tastings would have been at least double that price with a private car as you had a private tour. A nice price for a five-star trip. I'm sorry you did not appreciate it however.

I reached out the company directly and didn’t hear anything back. I was on the Palms to Vines Tour Sept 16, 2022 with Jeff and he was not the amazing tour guide this website and other reviews indicate. The confirmation call for pick up came about an hour before our expected pick up, which moved up our pick up time, and then he was about a half hour late. The route that he then proceeded to take to Temecula appeared to be much longer than the suggested google map routes. It took over 3 hours. There was a similar situation on the way back… his route appeared to take a lot longer. He was difficult to understand, he did not smell very pleasant, and his driving skills were suspect (ie. not really stopping at stop signs, crossing over the center line). He also was nodding off several times on the I10 on our way home, and we are amazed that we lived to tell this story as we almost sideswiped vehicles many times. He was not a tour guide at all, just a driver, and not a good one at that. My husband started talking to him to keep him awake on the way home and he missed the turn (the second time on this tour) so at his suggestion we were dropped off at a shopping complex and took an Uber back to our hotel to save time. He said he had the cash to cover it ($32) but all he had was $14 in the end and we said fine whatever just because we felt much safer anyway in an Uber and did not want to waste time for him to find another way to pay us $18. The whole tour for these reasons was not great and we were very disappointed.

Initially our trip was canceled but not until the day of the trip and after we received confirmation they were picking us up at the hotel. We waited over an hour, until the tour called the hotel to locate us as the person did not have my cell phone number. The y did apologize, apparently they are going through new ownership so a little unorganized right now. My recommendation is to make sure they are up and running with the new ownership before you book

We try to make sure that everybody has the best time on our tour. The guide found that the vehicle's air conditioning system was having some problems. It was going to be 110° day and it was decided that, for safety purposes, the tour needed to be canceled. We cancel in rare circumstances but when it happens it is done for an important reason.
