Parasailing Adventure at the Hilton Head Island

Overview

Enjoy the beautiful views of Daufuskie Island, Calibogue Sound, Harbour Town Lighthouse, Harbour Town Yacht Basin, South Beach Marina, and all the other breathtaking views the Lowcountry has to offer. Don’t forget to keep your eyes open for Hilton Head Island’s famous bottlenose dolphins.

Flyers get to take off and land on the flight deck of our 31′ Ocean Pro parasail boat powered by a diesel Volvo Penta engine. Tandem and triple flights are available based on weather conditions. Flyers also have the option to stay dry or get wet – will you make a splash? Time on board is approximately one hour and 30 minutes with a full boat of 12 passengers. Each flight lasts between 8-10 minutes.

My mom (59) and my son (12) took the trip up while my husband and I observed. After a 15 minute relaxing boat ride to the location, that started sending pairs up for about 10 minutes a turn. The captain and first mate were knowledgeable in their field. I would recommend and use this team again.

We had Cody and Stevie- perfect from start to finish. Booking, check-in- all of it. The boat looked like it was brand new. Life jackets had the warning instructions still clearly legible on the inside so obviously the jackets were barely used. We had the best time! Lucked out with perfect weather. The flight is near the lighthouse. So neat to see the entire island and the ocean on the far side in one shot. My 18yr old son held his phone the whole time and got pictures and videos. Cool that the guys don't mind about everyone using their phones. I had parasailed before; first time for my son. We got the photo package too- we got a disk with 62 pictures, only a few of them were duds. There was another parasail boat at the same time as us and they weren't getting anywhere near as high. There was a total of 5 flights on our trip- each going up about 10mins. Each flight had 2 people. Cody said with smaller kids, they can get 3 up and sometimes parents ride holding a young child. Boat ride to the lighthouse and back was smooth. One of the gals said she was two dolphins jumping when they were up. We didn't see any. Highly recommend these folks and will have to come back with our younger kiddo!
