Punchbowl Crater is an extinct volcanic tuff cone located in Honolulu, It serves as a memorial to honor those men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces, and those who have given their lives in doing so.

Honolulu is home to some of Oahu’s most historic places. Next to the skyscrapers of the island main business district you will find important landmarks like the Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha statue, the Kawaiahao Church and the Aloha Tower. This area is also the seat of Hawaii’s government, home to the Hawaii State Capitol, Washington Place and Honolulu Hale.

Our driver was extremely knowledgeable and well spoken. He made the tour in reverse to take advantage of the time of day and traffic patterns. When one of our fellow travelers saw something unusual, he would adjust our route so that all could enjoy it (ex: a lady walking a pig and a mongoose running across an open area). Small group. Only suggestion - scheduler give exact pickup location. (ex: instead of hotel name, say side entrance - we were at front. The driver did telephone so we could get to the pickup location.)

Fantastic experience...its all very surreal once on the Memorial grounds. Our driver was outstanding....part of our trip included a spin through the city - he was knowledgeable and very friendly. Really enjoyed all the unique places he pointed out including our trip to Punchbowl.

I’m a history buff. I taught it for 40 years. WW II was one of my favorite topics. To see it WOW! It was simply awe inspiring!
