It was touching, and great experience, to see the men and women who give their lives everyday to give us the freedom we enjoy and take for granted - thanks to the troops!

Karma first booked the morning time slot instead of the afternoon slot that I requested on the phone but they did change it. Next, the day before the tour Karma called and tried to force me into a morning time slot. I explained that we were coming in from a cruise and we need the afternoon time slot. After 2 phone calls, they understood and we kept the afternoon time slot. When we met Barney he explained that he only had 3 tickets for the 6 of us in the van. Karma says that they guarantee to avoid the lines. Barney basically forced us into going into the stand by line. This set the tone for the rest of the tour. Other people in the van got to go on the tour before us. We booked through Karma because we wanted guaranteed tickets. The other guests in the van had ample time to look at the exhibits. We did not. This was disappointing but Barney was not sympathetic nor did he apologize. We did get to see the Arizona and watched the movie and quickly looked through the gift shop before making it back to the van at 428 before the 430 deadline. Everyone else was already in the van. To top the day off then Barney played the Hawaiian equivalent of wired Al in the van on the way back. Thank goodness we were the first ones off the van. To summarize, I loved Pearl Harbor. My expectations were not met by Karma tours. I was expecting more and expecting to be more emphatic when they could not come through on their guaranteed of no standing in lines. That is what we paid for after all.
