What To Expect

New York City

Our personalized tour allows your group to pick and choose whatever attractions are appealing to you. There are no predetermined places; your itinerary is custom-made by you. However, if you don't know where to begin, our guide will gladly give recommendations and help you complete your tour before departure. Time spent at each location is up to you as well but our suggestion of 10 min per location is given to insure your time is well-managed.

We had a wonderful time touring NYC and Brooklyn as we had specific sites we wanted to see. My mother, sister and I had been to NYC in 2011 and did the broadway play, Statue of Liberty, took the subway, and some other touristy things~ This year we wanted to see all things “Christmasy”! We booked a 4 hour tour with Kevin who picked us up from our hotel and we headed to the Brooklyn bridge in Dumbo. We requested to go to Dyker Heights, a neighborhood in Brooklyn with lavish Christmas light decorated homes. He then brought us back to Manhattan where we visited Trump Towers, the “Luggage building”, aka Louis Vuitton store. We also visited Times Square ( this we’ve seen before so just drove through), and of course Rockefeller center and the beautiful tree. We told him we needed to get some bottled water and he found a Walgreens for us to get some. Kevin was truly a people person, help my mom get in and out of the van (he had a stepstool also!)~ He was very knowledgable about the city and made us feel “at home”. We would defiantly book again in the future! Thanks for the fantastic tour Kevin and Lux transit travel!

Kevin was a fantastic tour guide, he showed us all the hot spots, even those we weren't aware of. He was very pleasant and flexible to go anywhere we wanted. This is the best way to see all the city in one swoop!

Our private NYC tour with Lux Transit Travel was fantastic! Kevin, our tour guide, truly embodied the spirit of New York City. He was fun, knowledgeable, and took excellent care of our 6-person group. The Sprinter van was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with bottled water.
