Overview

Petrópolis a city in Rio de Janeiro State also known such as Imperial City. It was the first planned city construction of Brazil and modern world in 19th century. The Imperator Dom Pedro II, in 1843 made the region as his summer staying, ten years later in 1853 the first brewery of Brazil was founded in Petrópolis, but in 1898 was renamed Bohemia.

Very good explanations of Rafael Robaina in Spanish, Portuguese and English and the driving of Don Carlos. City if you want to know more about the colonizing history of Brazil.9

A very interesting walk. It helped us understand part of the history of Brazil. The imperial palace very well maintained. Rafael Robaina a very efficient and enthusiastic guide. Carlos, a very friendly and professional driver.

We had an amazing day, from the road it is very beautiful the landscape. I really liked the city Petropolis, the cathedral, the imperial palace. The guide very friendly and explained everything very well. The tour to the Bohemian brewery is interesting. Delicious chocolate shop The only thing I didn't like was the quality and taste of the food at lunch. They should switch restaurant suppliers.
