City Sightseeing Philadelphia was a great way to see Philly. We're two seniors, and used hop-on-hop-off bus when available. Bruce was excellent. He had so much energy and knowledge. He made the 2 hours narration fun and educational. We also stopped at Reading Terminal Market for lunch, Carmen was yummy 😋 .

We’ve done this kind of tour all over and what always makes or breaks it is the narrator or lack thereof. Sometimes it’s just trying to plug in those worthless head phones. This time we had live narrators on every bus. The little red headed girl was so great we just stayed on her bus as long as she was there. Tipping always seems to be a question as they all ask you to tip but if you tip each time you hop in and off it all adds up. This time I only tipped the best one and tipped her well but I suspect that’s not ideal strategy.

There are two bus lines operating in Philadelphia and at present they are operating together, and you can use your ticket on either. Apparently, business has not picked up post Covid. The tour guide did not stop talking all the way around however you do get to see the highlights of this city, but it will be better to walk around the old district rather than relying on the bus - you will see more on foot.
