I always like to start any visit with a tour just to get the "lay of the land". First, let me say, I went online the 1st night in town to book this or the other hop on/hop off bus and was told no availability. In the morning I called the number in the ad, which was Viator, and was able to book the combo day/night tour with no problem. When we arrived to catch the bus, I was told tickets could be bought with no problem right there (and at any stop) and very rarely were they too full. I would have preferred that option. Anyway, the tour is excellent and while the night tour was the same, it was still a nice tour to take. Our guides were excellent on both tours and they all had a little trivia to add. The first day in town we rode the Phlash as it was free for seniors. It's good but doesn't begin to cover the same territory tho some was the same.

Took this tour to see what Philly had to offer. I was very impressed with the knowledge of the guides as well as the interaction with the guests. We were unable to go to a few areas due to detours from the concert that was going on for Labor Day but it was ok as the tour was still an hour. It is hop on hop off tour and a lot of the stops are either right in front of or very close to the most popular attractions. Recommend to take a look to see what is all available before hopping off. You can go around as many times as you like in the day.

We were able to get on the bus near our hotel, get off at any point and back on again in 30-minute intervals. We had three days to complete the tour always getting on near the hotel and off there as well. This is a great way to see the city.
