had a two day pass which was good value. The tour guides were very good and obviously love their city. It is the easiest way to get your bearings in a new place and then decide where to go back to. wasn't overly busy but the Rocky Steps were very popular - which says something about culture! Recommended if only there for a couple of days.

Super tour guide did his best with ancient PA system but we could understand most of it and the tour was a great overview of the tourist scene. Do this as soon as you hit Philly and then go back and spend time where you need to (or get the two day pass and hop on and off on day two.) the bus we were on had a sign on the sides that blocked the view from the top deck so that was a little weird and cost a star for sure. But a great investment to get the overview of what's what in Philly. Highly recommend!

We recommend taking the Big Bus on your first day in Philly. It's the perfect way to familiarize yourself with the streets, landmarks and history quickly. The tour guides were knowledgeable, and made it fun. It stops at 27 points of interest throughout the city with hop-on-hop-off ticket. In the summer with no air conditioning, it can be hot on the main level. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen if you sit on the top level.
