I purchased our tickets for this trip through Trip Advisor. I received and email that then let me download my “ticket” to my iPhone wallet. NOWHERE on that ticket does it state the tour service I am booked with and we came to find out there are several tour companies in Philadelphia all using the same routes. This has to get better as the ticket in my Iphone ticket wallet should clearly state who the tour company is for my trip.
The tour was great and our guide was fantastic but this problem setup a bad start of the day.

Unfortunately the guide spoke so quickly and ran all his words into each other so it was very difficult to hear what he was saying. And it wasn’t only an issue for me (an Australian). The American family on the bus had the same problem understanding him.
There was also an assumption that a certain level of American history is already known. I know it’s tough to tailor commentary to all levels of knowledge but I felt it would be appropriate to give a grounding in American history that pertains specifically to Philly before rattling off names and places that may be meaningless to the average non American.

Great tour of the city and very informative. Our tour guide Bill and driver David were awesome!! It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking to learn about the city.
