My takeaways:
1) We had a very limited time to spare so this was a perfect way to get a full overview of downtown philly.
2) Kids loved the double decker bus (so did I) the line was a little bit of a wait to get on but luckily it was a beautiful day and the guides were very friendly and easy to talk to.
3) I would have loved to see more of the Philadelphia Mint, Betsy Ross House, Constitution Museum, Liberty Bell, Rodin Exhibit, Penitentiary, Franklin Museum, Farmers Market, Philly Art Museum....etc...but we just didn't have the time to get on and off.
4) I wish that they sold water or beverages on the bus because it did get very hot and we were not really informed to bring drinks ahead of time.
5) It looked like at the very popular spots that it was a little difficult to always find a bus to get on because they were full. So keep that in mind.
6) The tour guide on the bus gave some fantastic, interesting and funny information about the city and its rich history. Very informative and worthwhile.
Overall, we all had a really pleasant experience. It feels like you are right on top of the city. I will say this that if you are only going to ride the bus the whole way and not get off that it is a little difficult to hold the attention of young kids. They lost interest for the most part about halfway through. Can't wait to go back to Philly and check out all the stuff we missed.

Hello chad s
Thank you for choosing Philadelphia Trolley Works & Big Bus, and for your detailed review. We value your feedback. I am pleased you enjoyed your tour experience, and really appreciated our tour guides. Our guides take pride in providing an engaging, accurate, and informative tour. They also enjoy interacting with guests and acting as ambassadors for our great city. Food and beverages are allowed on our vehicles, and there are many options close by many of our stops to purchase water. I do apologize that you were not directed to one of those vendors.
