We spent 2 days in Philadelphia and bought a 2 day ticket for Big Bus Tours, what a great purchase! The bus was clean and appropriately warm, (the temps outside were in the low 20s!). Because of the low temps, the double decker busses were not operating but the enclosed trolleys did a great job! The drivers were terrific navigating the narrow streets and the commentators were knowledgeable and entertaining! A great aspect of this tour bus was that you can get on and off at the different places of interest. A quick phone call to the dispatcher lets you know when the next bus will be by! We never waited for more than 9 minutes!

I've been in Philadelphia a few times before, but his time, a sunny 17th October, finally took the Big Bus. It's very well worth it. All tourguides are very knowledgable and funny. They know how to keep the audience interested. The tour brought us (my girlfriend and I) to all the places that made Philadelphia to what it is and showed me a lot I hadn't seen before. Yes, the stops are of course at the tourist-magnets, but from there on you can explore different parts of the city.

The employees for this company are outstanding. Tour guides are quite knowledgeable of the area go around with a couple of different guides and you will get a better perspective of the area. Be sure to check out the old city 5 tshirt store for great tshirts at a good price. Good shuttle driver Daryl!

Be sure to book your shuttle ride to and from your hotel when you arrive. If you are staying further out City ave area you will have to go back by 3:30
