I always like to take some sort of tour of the city when I go to a new city because I feel like it gives me good info and background and it also lets me see the areas that I may want to revisit on my trip. The good thing about this is that you can get off wherever you'd like to explore and then get back on and keep on the tour. I thought the tourguides were entertaing and educational and everyone we dealt with was very friendly. We never had to wait too long for a bus to come at any stop. We all enjoyed the tour and thought it was worth the money.

We had a great experience on the Big Bus hop on/off tour. We stayed on for the entire 90 minute loop with our guide Sebastian who was awesome. He pointed out just about every building we passed and explained what it was and the history behind it. He spoke clearly and didn’t miss a beat. Later in the day we hopped on and Ray was the guide, who was also knowledgeable with his own personality. A third time we hopped on for a stop and had Sam as the guide who, unfortunately didn’t make the cut in our book. She was lovely and personable, but she spoke so fast that you couldn’t understand a word that she said. Luckily we were only on board to be shuttled to another stop and not for the tour.

After getting dropped off by the big bus at the Betsy Ross house, we toured the site and then waited at the bus stop for over an hour. The bus never came back. After finally reaching someone from big bus on the phone they said they decided to not pick up on that street bc of construction. There was no construction. A Verizon truck was parked down the street for a while. 3 other buses from another company made it by just fine. I’m trying to get a refund. No luck yet.
