I rarely go for these hop on/off tours. Too often the buses are slow to show up and the 'tour' part is lacking, but this was very good. I wished we had done more than one day. We took the bus four times and had good experiences each time. The tour guides were informative and each had something a little different to add so taking it more than once was a pleasure. On the downside, the top level has a plastic dome which was pretty marked up. That made taking pictures difficult. Everyone we talked to was great. We would recommend this and do it again.

The double decker buses, during the cold weather months, are covered with a domed top that helps to maintain heat and block the wind, so that tours can continue year round. A great idea to tour city however turned our to be more of a bus ride than a tour. For most of the ride there were many standing riders keeping us from seeing the sights. Therefor I think $30 is quite over priced for a bus ride. I will however give Ginger 5 stars for her enthusiasm and stories. She obviously enjoys her job.

The open air bus gives you an elevated 360 degree view of the city. Jump off the bus at any of the major attractions and catch the next one when you are done. It is worth it to take this tour a couple of times. Each guide has their own history, jokes and overall opinions of the city.
