We had a nice day to ride the bus. We went through and by so many historical parts of Philadelphia. However, our guide, Blue, did not focus on these things and, as I commented to my friend, 'she's just making s**t up!' She told us that the Liberty Bell fell out of a tree and, that's how 'we' broke it!! She said many times that people in Philadelphia don't like to work. They like to 'snack and nap.' Very insulting to the hard working people of Philadelphia. She told us that they were going to destroy Chinatown to build a stadium. And, the Quakers came over so they could relax and look at trees. The friend I was with is from Philly and was not happy with what she was saying about Philly. It's a shame that many people got off of the bus thinking that she was telling the truth. Her focus was not on history or education.

My husband and I took the 8:00pm night tour (Philly by Night) in Philadelphia. When I bought the tickets, I was told to arrive 15 minutes early and it would not be a problem getting a seat. I was even told that they would send another bus if necessary. When my husband and I arrived at 7:45pm, several buses were already filled. We were told there were two seats on one of the buses. My husband I got on the bus. The two seats left were not next to each other. My husband had to sit in a seat next to a heavy-set person. He was uncomfortable during the entire tour since he was only half on the seat and felt like he was going to fall out of the seat. He had to sit sideways during the entire tour missing all the sites highlighted during the entire miserable tour. We were back to the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown at 9:12pm. The tour ended 18 minutes early. I was told that it would be a 90 minute tour. I did not enjoy the tour. I do not recommend this tour. Save your money and go on a more enjoyable tour.

It was a humid, hot day in Philly, so summer may not be the best time to get on a bus with no air conditioning and no shade. The double decker is completely exposed to the sun, so be sure to wear a ton of sunscreen. Our best stop was the Reading Terminal Market. The guide was very knowledgeable. The history was very interesting. We did notice the map said we'd stop at Rittinghouse Square, but there was not stop there. All in all, it was informative and made a lot of stops, but I'd prefer a more personalized guided tour with A/C in the summer.

Hi, Donna_B! We're happy to hear you've had a fantastic time in Philly, despite the unfavorable weather conditions. Our fleet is equipped with air-conditioning, though due to the open-top nature of our buses, it may struggle to keep up with more heated weather. If you'd like to give us another go next time you're in Philly, we'd be thrilled to see you onboard!
