100% recommended for everything you get to see on this tour. It hits all the highlights and you have the option of sitting up top (beware the low branches!) or down below where there are fans to get cool. I went on a hot, sunny day. For most of the stops, nbd. There were nearby trees, etc. to sit under. At the Franklin Institute however there’s nothing but concrete so I sat on the steps in the shade. Lesson learned: if there is no one at the sign for pick up and no one wants to get off the bus, they will not stop. There is no way to track when buses are coming. I was told every 20 minutes by the guide on the ground. I was told every 60 minutes by customer service. Without water, it was miserable. So much so once I did get on a bus, I didn’t get off anywhere else. You can get on/off the BigBus maroon buses or the bright red City tour buses, a tip they did not share, rather I learned from a passenger from the bright red buses. Being able to track buses in the app, like this company has in other cities, would help tremendously. That would’ve avoided my issues completely. Philly is a great city! Still recommend this tour, but come prepared for the potential wait!
