Overview

Learning to surf with Sandbar Surf School is a lifetime bucket list thing that you will never forget. We are the premier surf school in California's Central Coast and we have been teaching surf lessons here in Pismo Beach since 1996. We have tons of local surf knowledge as well as many of our instructors are world travelers/surfers. We truly love what we do and you will have the best time in the world going with us. Laugh with us, surf with us and maybe even come to one of our bonfires! We would not only love to meet you from wherever in the world you are from, but we promise that your surf experience with us will be the part of the trip that you can't stop talking about in the days to come.

Really appreciated the enthusiasm, positive attitude of the Sandbar team. Really patient with a group of first-time surfers. Very organized and ultimately had the right balance of instruction to just letting us get out there and try it.

We're a family of 4 with 2 teens. This was a great experience for all 4 of us! The instructors were kind & patient. They made sure each of us got the attention and instruction we needed to have a fun, successful day. None of us had ever been on a surfboard before and all of us are ready to go back and do it again!

Jonny and Marie with Sandbar Surf make surfing fun. I haven't surfed in over 30 Years and was beyond in need of lessons. Sandbar Surf exceeded my expectations. Very professional, knowledgeable and made the day unforgettable. They had quality equipment, catered to our needs from booking to sending a follow up thankful to ensure we had the best experience possible. We will definitely be returning for more lessons.
