The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather.

James took us on a free--due to Covid19--tour in a motorized vehicle. The tour is free during Covid19. We all learned a lot about growing and harvesting of pistachios and grapes. Tours are at the top of the hour and last about 40 minutes.

A 'must stop' along Highway 54 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Much fun, and you can't miss the "World's Largest Pistachio" photo op either! Very friendly folks with all sorts of goodies for sale. Definitely worth a stop.
