We LOVE this place! We experienced many changes between two days of visiting due to the Coronavirus 😏 Let me say though that if given the opportunity to visit, please do. The staff is so friendly. The tour was very educational, even young children enjoy (who doesn’t like a free cookie) and it’s just a fun place to visit. We even visited with the Tim, the owner and learned some history and personal faves too. Try the wine, taste the nuts, buy some goods but definitely stop at PistachioLand and add the 30ft nut to your photo book

Took a break at Pistacioland on our roadtrip with two kids - 10 and 7 years old. Both kids enjoyed this place. They have all sorts of flavors of pistachios to sample so you know what you are buying. The tour of the pistachio groves and vineyard is quick but informative. Also a tour ticket gets you a free cookie. They also serve BlueBell ice cream (the best ice cream in the country), so that was exciting. And of course, there's the world's biggest pistachio, built as a memorial to the founder. Would stop here again.

Try to make it here near the hour to first go on a very short but informative tour of the nut orchard and vineyard. They grow five types of grapes here and two types of pistachios. Did you know grapes use 5 times the water pistachios do? Did you know a pistachio tree gives you a heavy crop every two years (up to 45 pounds/tree)? Did you know you need male and female trees? Did you know bees are not involved in the process of pollinating these trees? And much more about the collection of the nuts, the roasting, the processing… Our guide was a young girl studying to be a primary school teacher – glad to support her. The store is massive, and you can taste the various pistachio nut offerings from salty to spicy to sweet to hot… there are cookies and ice cream for sale as well. If you buy more than $10 worth of product you get a card for a 10% discount on the next purchase. You get $1 off on ice cream or a free cookie if you take the tour first (show your tour card). Tours are $2/per adult…
