What a gift to spend the afternoon with Mani at Aloha Adventure Farms, he is an amazingly talented. 4th generation woodcarver and wonderful, patient teacher. His workshop was infused with history, culture and humor.....by far the best experience of this trip! He guided us through carving the tiki face of protector, or of love and happiness, then offered to embellish the top for us with whatever we like. The setting was serene, and relaxing with a beautiful mountain view of the water. Absolutely recommend for kids as well, they will have a great time, and come home with the best souvenir!

The one thing our son wanted to do while visiting the island was to carve a tiki. We booked this adventure online for our whole family (2 adults and two kids - 8 & 9) and assumed we would have a fun time and leave with a few poorly carved pieces of wood. Wow, was I wrong. The instructor is amazing. He was patient, calm, and incredibly talented. He talked us all through strategies, drew lines for us to follow, and gracefully corrected any errors we may have made. As an added bonus, the view from carving area is gorgeous. We left with two ecstatic kids and four gorgeous tikis. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic experience and souvenir from their trip.
