Mani and Ou (wood carvers) are incredibly talented, as well as patient, skilled, and encouraging instructors. I brought a group of local high school students who were allowed to customize their designs so that the artwork had "teen appeal." The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were proud to bring home their final products. As a side note, one of the students misplaced her phone during this trip. The staff was very supportive and accommodating, with one staff member going back to the wood carving site to retrieve it. Class act...highly recommend!

I've visited several Hawaiian Islands and been on many tours. This tour was by far my favorite experience out of all of them. Mani was engaging and fun to work with. He really knows his stuff. What a great opportunity to learn wood carving from someone who has decades of experience and a family legacy of woodworking. And to top that off, the location is spectacular, even for Hawaii.
