Roseland Theater

We went as a group of adults on a busy Saturday. They had to split us into two groups, which they said they haven’t done before. Check in process was not clear. Guides were not identifiable. Dani ended up being our guide. Her stories were hard to follow, often jumbled, and not entertaining. Where we walked often didn’t align with the substance of her talk. She had us jaywalk across the city, and with a big group this meant unsafe crossings. She did not end where the tour states it will end. Some parties left early; we would have but we were holding out hope for the tour to improve. Unfortunately it did not, and we left disappointed having paid a lot for a very lame experience. Would not recommend unless you know you’ll have a highly-rated guide.

Our guide did not introduce everyone, didn’t speak a word while walking. Seemed to not know any of the history or stories and stumbled through most of it. Would have been much better with a better guide. You should know there are a lot of homeless on the streets you walk through. You’ll be safe in a group but it’s sketchy.

Morgan was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge of Portland's history and culture was entertaining and not a second of it was boring. I'd recommend her tour to any person coming to visit. The highlight of our vacation at night was her tour.
