Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters. Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

Tour time is a check-in time; departure is within 15 to 30 minutes.
The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship.
Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes.

Although they guaranteed we'd see whales and we did, they were so far away that all you saw was a few bumps come out of the water. In my opinion it wasnt worth the money we spent. We were told if you want to see the whales very active and playful you need to see them in Hawaii.

This is a must if you come to Juneau. I got to see 14 whales up very close. The whales were jumping out of the water. Just awesome time

We had an amazing time on this tour. We had 21 of us and were able to go on a smaller boat which we loved. Sam was our naturalist and did a great job. She was entertaining and very knowledgeable. Our captain & Sam seemed just as excited about seeing the whales as we were. We got close to a group of about 6 whales. They were amazing to watch. All of the sudden they all headed towards our boat. They were so close and one even went under the boat. It was so fun to see them up close. We even saw a mom and her calf and they showed their tales at the same time. It was an experience we won't soon forget. I know all tours aren't as lucky as we were so we feel fortunate to have had this experience. It was nice to just be out on the water and enjoying the scenery all around us. The boat was extremely clean and nice. We were all impressed with the whole operation. I would recommend this company if you are looking to do a tour in Juneau.
