Premier Juneau Whale Watching Expedition

Overview
Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters.  Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

Carrie is an ourstanding naturalist. She explained everything about the whales. We saw several whales and possibly Flame and Sizzle (mother & offspring) playing and splashing water.

We went out with captain Charles to watch whales with two grandsons, ages 8 and 10. Our trip was amazing from the time we got on the boat. He is pleasant, extremely entertaining, and knowledgeable. He absolutely went above and beyond. We saw a huge pod of Orca. We were given plenty of time to take pictures and just enjoy the views. Capt Charles dropped a sonar into the water and we heard the orca playing. Then we were off to watch humpbacks. We saw so many humpbacks. It was an amazing thing to watch. We saw some sea lions. We then headed back to the dock. The weather was amazing. We would absolutely recommend Capt Charles. He was phenomenal

Capt Matt and his crew Brock and Noah did not disappoint. We had an exceptional day and saw many whales and even Sea Lions. Brock was great and provided excellent insight in his commentary during the vogage. I would highly recommend this tour.
