We were on a cruise with one of the major companies and they had the same tour package. The cruise-lines kept trying to convince us that we would not have an equivalent trip even though this package was $70 less per person. We loved this trip. It was an easy walk from our ship to the staging area (which is where all the tours leave from anyway). We saw multiple humpback whales on our whalewhatch. One baby whale playfully floated on his back and splashed with his flippers. The same baby breached about a dozen times. We also saw several adult humpbacks in different locations. The Mendenhall Glacier portion was excellent. By doing the whale watching in the morning you have time to spend and the glacier and not feel rushed. The Visitor Center is interesting, they have multiple hiking trails, the glacier is interesting and the main waterfall is amazing. The tour has multiple buses running, so you can spend as much time as you like. Only downside may be how much they requested you do a review, but I honestly feel like they were an excellent service for the price and a much better option than what our cruise-line had available.

Whale watching tour was very good, saw about 10 humpback whales breaching and a few with tail slaps! All from quite a distance. Also saw eagles and sea lions. No orcas. Nice boat and very knowledgable and friendly crew. Only had one hour to view the Mendenhall glacier, which is not enough time if you would like to take the trail to the falls (about 45minutes roundtrip). An hour and a half would be about right.

We very much enjoyed the cheerful banter between our guides, Marina and Charlie. Marina was especially informative and exceptionally cheerful. Our Captain, Jordan piloted us to a fruitful location. It was all very fun and will leave a lifelong memory!
