Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. If you are in Juneau all day - you can take advantage of our flexible Glacier Shuttle to get back to town. If you arrive in the afternoon expect to get 90 minutes at the park. But don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
Children must be accompanied by an adult
At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship
A moderate amount of walking is involved.
No food is allowed at the Mendenhall Glacier.
Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes
Always check with us regarding the shuttle schedule if you want to spend more than 1.5 hours at the Glacier park

Goldbelt Mount Roberts Tramway

This is our meeting point. We chose it because it is easy to spot from everywhere. We meet under the cables of the aerial gondola.

Inside Passage

We will drive you via bus out to Auke Bay Harbor, where you board our custom whale watching boats

Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center

We drive you via bus to this beautiful park. Time spent here depends on the time of day you arrive. Refer to your tour guide for the most accurate information.

Nice trip to Glacier with a driver who was very entertaining while Mendelhall was nice it paled in comparison to the whale watching part of the tour. Captain Jordon along with guides Christi and Amber were full of info and their excitement about the whales were contagious.

We had a great time on a chilly, rainy day in Juneau. We we glad for the big glass windows and heat that other boats we saw didn't have! We also had a great Capt in Ben & tour guides Connor & Krichelle. They were informative and helpful! Connor was hilarious and kept the snacks coming! Ben got us right to the whales as soon as they spotted them! Would recommend this tour to others not booking on the ship. This was a smaller tour so way more personal than what the ship offers onboard. If you are Connor's mom and are checking up on him, he is doing a wonderful job! We wish him the best in his future! 😀

Booked this trip since the one offered by Celebrity didn't impress us. Boy, were we glad we did. This was the best excursion we experienced in our 2 week trip. The boat was just the right size so we could move around with comfort. The captain/naturalist was adorable and we were keep alert for whales and seals and otters . Great excitement when a whale came with 10 feet of out boat. The trip to the glacier was beautiful and provided some great photos. Would recommend Juneau Tours Whale Watch & Mendenhall Glacier Combo Tour.
