This was our favorite excursion from our Alaskan cruise, and well worth the money! The boat is set up perfectly for everyone being able to view and photograph the whales during any type of weather. Captain Mitch and guide Michael were both very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of info on our way out to the whale watching portion of the trip. Michael gave us photography tips and suggestions, and was available for individual help. Captain Mitch stayed a safe distance from the whales while bringing us close enough for great viewing; it was an awesome experience. I like that they are flexible with their time and schedule, as there was a lot of whale activity on the day of our tour. While that gave us a shorter tour of the glacier, we felt the trade off was well worth seeing the whales. (Including Flame and her calf Cinder) The bus to and from the dock was clean and the drivers were friendly and informative. The snack they provided was quite filling and good.

Went on the bus to the Glacier. Was advised to visit Nugget Falls - a short hike, much less than the 45 minutes each way we were told. Rely enjoyed the walk, easy and flat and totally worth the effort for the views of the falls and the Glacier. We then boarded the bus for the Whale watching experience. It was a short drive to the dock. No refreshments are available but we had time to nip to the local store. The boat was not full but was quite cramped. If it had been full it would have been uncomfortable. Only 12 people were able to be on the upper deck. We were lucky, the others on the boat took turns and let photos be taken. We saw several Humpback Whales, seals, sea lions and birds. The scenery was absolutely spectacular but on this day if was 78 degrees, we were so lucky!

Staff was knowledgeable and professional. There were plenty of whales to watch in their natural habitat and Glaciers were spectacular. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
