I would give this tour and group 20 stars if I could. The Mendenhall Glacier was awesome and well worth seeing, but the highlight of the trip was the whale watching. Our guides Kristy, Ed and Russell were amazing! I so wanted to see Orcas and even though they were honest that they see them in the area but not frequently I was also told that they would try. We took off and they found out that there was a pod of Orcas and rushed to get there before the Orcas left the area and then surprised us with them. They were extremely knowledgeable, personable, and really showed how much they love whales and wanted to share that love with all of us. We were on an Alaskan cruise and booked through them instead of the ship and I would recommend them to anyone gong to Juneau!!

He had a great day. Capt Ed, Meranda, and Danielle were excellent. We saw both humpback and orca whales. The orcas actually came up to the boat and then went under it. The crew said this was very unusual and one of the best experiences they'd ever had also. I know it's probably luck, but we had an amazing experience. The trip to the glacier was also cool. We walked down to Nugget Falls which was great and a wonderful place for photos. We were on a cruise and the reason I picked this tour was because they cruise tend to herd you like cattle and I read reviews where they only had a short time at the glacier, not enough to walk to the Falls. This was confirmed by people we ate dinner on the cruise that took their tour, not enough time. Ours didn't have a time limit, just had to catch the last bus back to the pier which could have been as late as 7:00 pm. We left about 6:00 and probably had stayed at the glacier area for two hours. Great day, excellent tour. Lots better than the cruise ships.

Words cannot discribe. We were lucky in that we got to see a whale breach to feed, which is highly unusual. Even without seeing that just watching the whales breathe and drive was an amazing feeling. The glacier was impressive and beyond words to see in person. Good phones and cameras are a must. Burst photos settings really help capture things as well as video. Our crew, Captain Brenden, Lukas, and Meranda were amazing. Their knowledge was impressive. Their reactions to the whale breach feeding revealed how amazing it was to see. If these people get over the top excited, and they did, imagine how excited we were.
